Cricket Pokemon Line by TerryTibke Cricket Pokemon Line by TerryTibke
As I said I'd do eventually - it actually happened sooner that I thought - here's both the second AND third stage of Creekit as well!

Say hello to Breepeep and Bashopper.

I will stick up the background info when I have a moment. Right now, my eyes are a bit itchy.

These are fake, all Pokemon copyright Nintendo, Pokemon etc.

Don't you think they look too, digimon-ish?

In my opinion i think its the coloring style and the eyes, try to find eyes of Pokemon that exist, because they have all of the good eyes, new eyes barely have a go of passing as real. And too many colors mixed makes it look not much of a Pokemon and more of a Digimon.

You don't have to listen but i'm just giving you a heads up from what I've seen in the past.

Bashopper has a cute face, but his body creeps me out xD *bug issues*

Yeah. I draw it, scan it, vector it, color it (using dodge for highlights).

As for designing them, I just copy the different styles used on current Pokemon, and put together new ones. They're simple design practice.

WAIT!...WHAT IS VECTOR IT? AND HOW YOU COLOR IT? USING PAINT?

Vector is another method of saving images. A vector graphic saves points and their placement only, and the width of the lines connecting them. This also allows those vector images to grow/shrink and not loose resolution.

The other method is via bitmap or pixel. These type of images have to save a color associated with a small "box" or pixel.

There are advantages to both, but as for coloring it, after I've vector'd the lines, I bring it into Photoshop to color, which then rasterizes it and saves it as bitmap.
