Rangers of Ys

I couldn't resist putting up the new Rangers of Ys piece that I did the lines for, but Mighty Joe did the colors for. Super awesome stuff man.

Excerpt from Armageddon: The Battle of Darkening Skies:

A gritty unknown voice rang out from the trees, “Who
comes to this place in the company of two dragons and armored as a knight of some foreign land?”

Sand looked about slowly but could not see the source
of the voice. The treetops whispered quietly in the autumn
breeze, but this was all the young Lieutenant could hear or
see about him.

He decided he had better answer before another volley
was aimed for him. “I am Lieutenant Sand Rocketblade!” he
said. “This is Thunderclap and Lasertooth, and I have come
to seek out my Commander, Turim Gliderlance. He stayed in
this cabin. Please, what has happened here?”

There were a few more moments of silence before the trees abruptly began dropping men and elves armed with bows all around the clearing amidst the fall of many gentle leaves and the crack of small branches. The men landed in a crouching position but quickly returned to their feet and drew a bead on the knight with their elegant yet powerful looking bows.

All wore dark green and olive cloaks that were travel worn
and hooded. No one spoke. After a few short moments, one of the bowmen lowered his longbow and returned it to his back where a quiver of arrows hung.

Sand could not see the man’s shadowed face as he approached.

In a raspy voice filled with influence, the likes of
which Sand had never heard, the man said, “We have heard of your Commander. He was seen in a pub located in Centerland, and it has been reported that he spoke with some of our own missing friends. What do you know of this, Lieutenant Rocketblade?”
